SAN ANTONIO FLAGSTONE INSTALLATION

Flagstone Process
Flagstone comes in many colors, textures, thicknesses and sizes. We install flagstone pathways, patios, fire pits, and more.Ā

We offer two types of installation.Ā
The first, is a dry laid method which consists of making a gravel base and placing the flagstone leveled and filling in the joints with crushed granite or a product called Mainbrick which stabilizes after it gets wet.
The second, is a wet laid method which consists of installing a concrete slab and placing the flagstone leveled with mortar and filling in the joints with your choice ofĀ colored mortar.

3. If needed, we will then place edging on the exterior wall
4. We then lay Landscape Fabric on the ground
5. Add 1-2 inches of base granite and compact it with tamper
6. Add 1-2 inches of Concrete Sand and compact it with tamper.
7. Then we lay the flagstone like a puzzle in the sand while making sure each piece is level.
